Interest in British flowers is continuing to grow at a rapid pace fuelled no doubt by the increasing cost of imported flowers. Because of this we have seen a boom in interest of the flowers we grow here in sunny Cornwall.
During the pandemic like many businesses we needed to adapt to keep alive. There was a huge demand for our flowers from all over the country due to the whole flower industry pretty much closing down. We began sending flowers Nationwide from Lands End to Aberdeen. Since then we have fine tuned our service and can now reach as far as Inverness in Scotland the very next day from our little nursery in Cornwall.
Its not just the British flowers & foliage grown here and by our partner growers that we supply, we import from all over the world so can supply anything in season with a little notice. We also re-bunch most imported flowers into smaller bunches of 10 stems so that you don’t have to buy 25 or 50 stems of one item like Solidago or Freesia. We find this is of great help to smaller home based florists and students alike.
